    these where on my gti for about 3000 miles. I upgraded to the bigger drivers edition brakes. these have been machined and are well above the minimum machine too thickness. I only had to remove
    .003 inches off of side of the rotors to true them up. $75 obo can supply a set of centric brake pads for F+R for another $80.

    you didnt upgrade to "Drivers Edition" brakes, you upgraded to 11.3 OBD2 brakes....free bump

    I know what i upgraded to, and i know that all the glx jettas and gti vr6's had 288x25mm rotors from 96-on , everyone calls them the DE brakes. Google it and quit beeing a dick

    I have a set of centric posi quiet semi metallics for the front and the back. they work great for aggresive driving as well as the every day grind. I run them on all my cars. Just to be clear these only fit corrado and passat vr6 and early 94-95 vr6 mk3. these will not fit mk3 from 96 on.
