Not that it looked great before, but it was certainly better.

My uncle bought this about a month ago

He owns a body shop and loves striping his cars. He only had the thing a month before he did
some paint work (you should see his HD Silverado...he striped that too)
well, here it is:

Needs more stripes

Imo he should have left the sides and rear taillight section alone. I do like the hood. Works with the car.

The rear tail light stripe just works. The rest... well the hoods cool.

Hot Wheels car made MORE Hot Wheelsy by your uncle. Blech.

I definitely like the color contrast but I might have left the sides a little plainer. Maybe one set of lines or the other but probably not both.
#15
Yikes. The racing stripes look pretty good, but the side strips and taillight thing are awful.
#16
I am a huge new Camaro fan, especially the transformers edition. But in my opinion, that looks terrible.

Just out of curiosity, do you have any pictures of the Silverado you mentioned?

Too much. Way too much. Like a woman wearing jewelry: Put on two or three pieces only, then take one off. Anything else is loud/gaudy and takes away from the woman's beauty (in this case, the relative beauty of the car)...
But nicely done, he is an artist applying the paint, I'll give him that...![]()

chrome accents in the tail lights are the most dumb thing on that car.
paint them black then put some yellow stripes and then some more black stripes.
#21
he should have left it solid yellow. all of those stripes are ugly.
#22
i'd ditch the side striping, including the hockey sticks and rear quarter stripes. the top double stripe is nice.
#23
For ME, I would have avoided the stripes on the sides of the car. I like the hood/roof/trunk and actually, like the tail light section more than I though I would...seems to lessen the "heft" of the rear end.
#24
I'd race your uncle, but I don't have enough stripes to match that powerful beast![]()

I like the look of these cars without stripes. Mainly because it's less common than having them.
#26
side stripes are hideous. Tail light panel blackout wasn't done right. Other then that, they are pretty cool cars, and a lot of go fast for not a lot of money.

Even this guy thinks there's too many stripes for his liking...
Though for some reason I kinda dig the rear panel treatment.![]()

The Camaro looks much better without any stripes. Or just down the middle if you're going to go for any kind.

I like the top stripes. But the sides are over the top, imo.
Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.
