Thread: wheels are on! pics inside

    after a little trouble getting a super stripped bolt off, i finally have my alpherds on. the only thing i dont like is how my steering wheel gets a little wobbly at 60mph. let me know what you all think







    im well aware of the 1 foot wheel gap im looking at springs now.

    but dont get springs, they wont lower it enough. get coilovers. even if they are cheapies..

    i'm on neuspeed r32 springs with polo front bushings. i'm pretty happy with how they sit

    As for your wobble, how's your tie rod ends? Or your alignment?

    i had my front end checked about a month and a half ago. i have to do my front brakes so i'll have them check the wheels / alignment. as for now i dont mind driving extra slow so people can get a good look

    start with making sure the tires are balanced right.

    tires make a huge difference , if they are messed the whole drive is $hit

    nope thats my boy rich. he was popular in the mk3 section maybe some of u guys know him. i basically chilled with mary jane while he did everything. nothing like a friend with an impact gun

    Looks nice and will look awesome slammed on it's arse :-) have you got spigot rings on the wheels? just another thought on top of what has already been mentioned re the wheel wobble.

    ya i forgot about those. diff hub rings !

    ya st coils are pretty decent for the price, just remember to keep out the rear adjusters and take all that crap in there out too. just the spring by it self
