Seems kind of strange... Telly Savalas in a suit in an 83 Ranger. (Shrug)
And can anybody imagine Telly in one of these EXPs?

It seems like what we call a standard warranty now.
Wait.. when did new cars did not even have a 2 year warranty?

lol, THIS! Telly was my grandfathers best friend and was always at the house, when I was growing up. Before I was born, he would bring Jennifer aniston over(when she was a kid) to swim, since telly is her godfather. Great thread, if you knew him in person, like I did, you would love him even more. Tons of great stories. And yes, I have a gold trimmed bible personally given to me with personalized message in-scripted inside by telly himself. He was just another one of my grandpas friends who Hung out at the house, to me.

I barely recognize him. I've watched very little of what he's been in. Born a decade too late I guess.

And he was also in one of my favorite Bond flicks: OHMSS as Blofeld![]()

Jeez, this one looks like a 7/8th scale Mustang. Well done.
edit: I blew my 5000th post on my 3rd user name to post a picture of a Ford EXP. Things can only improve from here.

I love how the Ford warranty excludes "accidents."
I've always thought Michael Chiklis resembled our buddy Kojak. Anyone else?
They both have Greek blood in them so they have that, and lemme tell ya, that blood is precious. My now double-ex's dad always brought it up as his way of saying I was never good enough for his daughter.![]()

I actually think the earlier cars with the peaked headlights look better now than the later cars with the cladding and the simpler front end. The very first EXP turbos without even the two-tone (another common option) I think look best:
Yep--it had 120 hp, which was a lot in the day, but it still was bit of a dog.
Apparently, there were also a couple of supercharged ASC McLaren versions built, which I did not know until I was Googling for photos for this thread:

Traditonal Greek families like to keep the heritage and Greek Orthodox religion living on. Kind of like many convert to Judaism when marrying into a Jewish family.
I have a friend to converted to Greek Orthodox when he married a woman whose family was Greek - and she was adopted. The ethnicity is important.

There are actually people who are way in to these cars... the EXP and LN7.

If Russia were to attack Turkey, would Greece attack from the rear?
Savalas was great in the Dirty Dozen.

savalas in a suit selling rangers in 83 makes sense. bringing the pickup to the masses, the commuting class, the working/every man, fresh off gas shortages, and convincing them it was perfectly normal to drive to work in a suit in a truck, is what turned a farm implement into the best selling vehicle in the land. (well, that and the government/industry "cooperation.")
ahhh, the golden age.
