    Leavenworth Cruise 2012- June 16th

It's about that time of year again, the cruise is fast approaching and will be here before we know it!

We will be meeting at the Gee Creek rest stop just north of Vancouver @6:30am and will be departing at 7:00am SHARP. Make sure you come with a full tank of gas and all of the other essentials.

**A word of caution to everyone-the bridge near woodland has raised expansion joints, do remember to slow down and hug the shoulder**

More info for the cruise can be found at the official site www.leavenworthdrive.com, or on the official thread, which I have yet to see.

Bags and wheels don't make show cars. Ingenuity and originality are lacking in the scene.

I live in Kelso. Was thinking of driving up. I was part of the very first cruise back in the waterwagens hay day. I've been out of the VW scene for about ten years. There any chance you guys could pick me up on the way through? I think the family would like to do this that weekend.
Ben gone from Vortex for nearly ten years... I must be getting old, cause this style of putting Corvette wheels or what not and stretching tires is a style I do not understand.

Shoot me a PM and I'll give you my number so that you can text me the morning of and remind me. I'd be more than happy to text you as we're getting close. I know another guy usually sits on the on-ramp there and jumps on as we roll past

I'm totally inskies! Where are all of the Seattle peeps meeting up to cruise out? I'm out in Port Angeles, so if anyone from the OP wants to roll together we should set up a time and spot.

Can't wait, doing all the final prep this weekend to get the Benz pretty for the Bothell show and Leavenworth. I'm gonna be busy.

Austin-I took the golf last year, which was incredibly low, and I don't remember hitting subframe ever (other than around woodland). Overall the roads are pretty smooth.

Oooh. Good idea. Me and the woman just might do that. Forgot about KOA. Most are pretty nice for camping. I'll let ya know if we do that.

Good to hear, I'm quite familiar with I-5 north but have never traveled 405 or the 2. Never hurts to ask! Thanks!
