Been out of the air cooled game for a while now. Been busy with work, kids, and watercooleds. But I've been looking for something to build for a while to keep me sane! I was playing around with a 60 semaphore project for a while but came across this gem from a friend that I had to have. Has the original 61 only hydrate green shifter, steering column, steering wheel, carpet and rear seat bar still! My first order of business was to get it back to og paint. This took me a long time but I am pretty happy with it. There's a few panels that I am going to get a canned matched up and feather in where there's some bondo. Anyways here's some pics! I'll update as I go.

That brings me to now. 4"spring plates. 5"beam and building a tranny raise. Going to be on sprint stars or cosmics. Not sure yet. Should be running driving in a few months

A few shots of my 58 and 63 from a while back. Can't wait to get the 61 going.

Some more pics, since we all love them!

Thanks. Used them to help keep it strait when I was welding it back together. Had it set up in some angle iron to keep the tubes strait

Worked on my deck lid today. Most tedious thing ever, removing paint.... also started on a new beam. This one is original to the car so it's just cooler to me. Got my arms and pitman arm all cleaned and painted up.

Still need to buy some adjusters and weld the beam back up.
    One day closer...

Finished a new beam today, need to drill the torsions and get some tie rods still. Next thing on the list is a dual circuit master and all new brake components.
