I am thinking of purchasing Audi R8 wheels for my 2012 CC. The wheel is 18" with an offset of +40. How would that fit on the CC? I have stock suspension, btw. thanks alot guys

It would fit just fine. IIRC, the stock 19x8.5 Sagittas are ET41.

All OEM CC wheels are 8" wide & ET41 (so 19x8" for the Sagittas)

As for the proper offset...40 would work, easily, assuming it's a 8" or even a 8.5" wide wheel

    How do you define "proper?"

I fell in love with this rim but only found I picture of a CC with them. The are a 19x9 with a 33+ offset. I wanted them for my 2012 CC which recommends a 40-55+ offset. My wheel guy said this could cause a lot of issues due to less padding and possible rubbing on front turns.

Thoughts or suggestions? This may explain why I have only found 1 picture of a CC with this set up

With a 9" wide wheel and 33mm offset, you could be looking at rubbing issues. Fronts would be close, rear would probably poke. Are you lowered at all? I would think stretched tires are a must for this set-up.

I am going to be lowered on Eibach por kit for now until I get coil overs, but this set up sounds like it is begging for problems. This wheel does not come in the proper off set and I have yet to find a replica or one that even comes close

I'm no expert but just sounds like a borderline wheel. There are a few guys running 20s here and I imagine that those are at least 9" wide and probably around a +35 offset. Try asking your question in the wheel/suspension thread. The Savannahs are nice looking for sure.

Thanks I did, and the feedback seems to be it's not recommended. This wheel is a 19". I appreciate the help though

Right, I'm just saying that there are guys with 20s that fit and 20s usually are at least 9" wide so the 19x9 Savannah may fit.
