I'm looking to pull a cheapskate move and buy a thicker head gasket to solve my 9:1 piston issue until I can gather funds to build the motor I want. So, 83mm Ross 9:1 pistons, ported head with 7mm valves, cleaned up chamber (may increase the chamber some) what thickness gasket would I need to at least drop to a 8.5:1?? Thanks if you found the timecosmetic says they can make a gasket from .027"-.140" and me not knowing the stock thickness

On an 83 mm bore? Most head gaskets are only good to 82.5 I believe.
