Lotta changes this year.
Stuttgart and Chapman will be involved and participating. There will be a water-cooled class again....I know I know...you need 47 classes in order to do it right, but it's a free show, so at least you get a good parking spot.I don't expect a ton of you aquamen to show but still the area is being moved to the other side to give you lots more room to just chill.
ummm...lets see...breakfast saturday, cruise to gates pass, bbq at reid park, nite activities with many satellite events...redbarn roundup starts Thursday or Friday....show on Sunday...all free.
Donations for the foodbank accepted and encouraged (they really do help people)
umm...cool raffles, engine blow, gear, just fun...and yeah...free.

Come on down to Tucson and spend a weekend playing VW with us. This year activities include:
Oct. 20 - Continental Breakfast at Chirco 8am - 10:30am
Chirco friend and supporter Jerry Bobs will provide a semi buffet style breakfast. Eggs, meat, pancakes, fruit, you know...breakfast. Coffee and drinks available on site by Joe's Coffee. Cost is FREE
Oct. 20 - Crosstown Cruise 11:30am
This year were just gonna cruise from one end of Speedway to the other. We'll start far eastside and take our time driving across the entire city to the beautiful lookout destination called Gates Pass http://www.brendaobrien.com/gates-pass.html Cost is FREE
Oct. 20 - Joe's World Famous pre-show BBQ 3pm - 6pm AT Reid Park
The BBQ will be held at Tucson's largest park. Reid Park has this stuff called "grass", and "shade". There is also a lake, playground equipment, dog park, zoo, baseball, covered ramadas and plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy one of Joe's big weenies. Cost is FREE
Oct. 19 - 21 - The Red Barn Roundup
All you Type 2 folk can camp on the property next door to Chirco. There's room for all of you. Last year's events included live music, raffles, prizes and an extreme amount of fun. The Tucson Bus Mob helps run this get together and they always do it right. The Red Barn Roundup has become a "must-do" event for many campers. Join us Cost is FREE donations accepted.
Oct. 21 - 17th Annual Chirco.com Bugtoberfest at Chirco 8am - 2pm
The show as always promises to be one of the most fun times you can have with your air-cooled car in Arizona. People's choice awards, club awards, engine blow, awesome raffle prizes (no junk), Big Rattlesnake Alley Swap Meet, Music, entertainment in the form of you aircooled clowns, big in-store savings, t-shirts, posters, and a few surprises await those who attend.
Cost to enter the show is FREE, swapmeet space is FREE, Cost to attend is FREE
This show does benefit the Foodbank of Tucson. A donation of non-perishable food items is appreciated. Our record is 1680 pounds of food collected at the show. Help us get a "Ton of Food" for people who really do need it.
