Where to get a new engine?

I posted not too long ago about my 05 Jetta GLI. My hydraulic tensioner went while on the thruway, jumped my timing belt and apparently did a number on my pistons as well as valves. With the cost of the repairs, it will probably be cheaper just to buy another engine.

Can someone point me in the right direction please? Crate engine, remanufactured, used...what are my best options?

try a local salvage yard perhaps. get another AWP engine and swap it out, or pay a shop to swap it.
