FS: GTI Grille

I had this grille modified to fit regular Golf. Contrary to popular belief, these do not fit right out of the box without trimming. Looked great on my TDI. Grille is in great condition. The GTI badge is not on it, but I can include one with broken tab.

was the modification hard? Does it sit perfect? Did you have to cut any clips? I might be interested. What's the best you can do on this grille? Does it come with the VW embelem? I've seen a lot of brand new ones for 79 shipped. if it comes with the embelem. I would take it if you do $60 shipped on it and if you can include the vw emblem vw broken tabs as well. Wasn't hard, but a bit tedious. I had to trim some tabs on the grille to fit Golf bumper and trim bunch of plastic in the back of the grille so it sits flush with the perfect. Fits very well!

That is not OEM grille on eBay, does not come with any badges, and you will have to modify it. I can do $90 shipped.

ok one more thing, since you had to cut the tabs, can you send me pictures of the grille from the back? Does the grille sit tight on the car or is it loose since it is installed with less mounting tabs?

It sits tight as it is still bolted down with 4 screws at the top.

THEY DO NOT FIT TIGHT WITH JUST THE SCREWS AND THE TABS DO NOT SNAP INTO GOLF BUMPER AT ALL THE TABS SIT NEAR THE SLOTS SO THE BOTTOM MUST BE FASTENED INTO PLACE USING 3M TRIM TAPE OR HEAVY DUTY INDUSTRIAL VELCRO- I'VE MODDED ONE AND ITS A PAIN IN THE A-- IT DOES LOOK GOOD WHEN FINISHED THE ALTERNATIVE IS USING A GRILLE MADE IN CHINA THAT MAY FIT.I HAVE A STOCK GTI GRILLE ON MY 2012 TDI TECH PACKAGE

thanks for the heads up, I have to buy a bumper too, I might just purchase a GTI bumper? one thing, are the fenders the same? If I buy a GTI bumper, would it fit right in without modifications?
