Anyody going to Laguna Seca this weekend? I'm out here for work and figured I'd stop by. For regulars, do you have any recommendations where to snag the best seats for general admission tickets? I'd like to stick to one spot, since it will be crowded and don't want to give up a good seat to switch vantage points.

I also may have an extra ticket if anybody is interested... a 2-day general admission ticket for Friday and Saturday, but I will only be going Saturday.

What time do you guys plan on getting there? Is it expected to be a full house for a Le Mans event?

Sold it already. I found a pair on Craigslist and the guy only wanted to sell them as a package... I would imagine there are a good number still up for grabs on Craigslist.

i agree with mellbergVWfan the hill in GA is awesome, my favorite spot during my childhood was always on the hill in front of the pit entrance(for good overtaking and keeping track of who is pitting). But if you go a little higher and to the left you can see the cars for most of the track except the corkscrew. The corkscrew is something you should definitely check out since it's so unique, but honestly it can get boring after a while since there is hardly any overtaking there.
Or if you prefer a closer sight to the cars, then i recommend the right hander (turn 4) after the dunlop bridge (right behind the espn camera guy), that's a great place to see the way the cars just hammer down that short straight away between turns 4 and 5. you can really appreciate the differences in power between the different classes too.
I really wish i could go this year but i'm stuck in mexico until school goes on break
Have fun
