    I have the small plastic mk1 euro bumper and im looking for the lights that mount on these bumpers but every place i look is on backorder, german auto parts, ecs, ap tuning, ngp racing, etc. anyone wanna give up a pair?? (need entire assembly not just lenses) located in NY lookin for local to make sure they will fit my bumpers

    so the bumper lights from a mk2 small bumper gti/jetta will work with the euro bumper?

    I made a set years ago from factory mk1 turn signals. If I recall,It involved trimming the mounting tabs(or one of them) off the factory housings. It did involve disassemnling the plasic euro bumper from its rebar. I wish I could be more specific. It was a long time ago, but it did work, and it looked very nice like a factory setup. Plus, it had signals aand running lights just like factory, unlike the cheap euro light housings that were plastic, and only had one or the other. I may have had to grind the rectangular hole in the "rebar" out a little. It was time consuming, but not that hard to do...I just dont remember exactly what I did!
