So, finally get the Benz back together yesterday, did a quick test drive last night, and took it out tonight to run around town and stuff. While out and about, the transmission started slipping very noticeably. It's always had a craptacular 1-2 shift, but tonight it was slipping under any type of load other than normal driving on a flat road...

Anyways, on with the point. I'd like to rebuild it my self, but having no access to shop manuals, hard to find parts, no Mercedes specific tools and just a complete lack of free time, I'm looking for someone to do it for me. Vehicle in question is a 1976 300D with a 722.109 automatic transmission. I can remove the transmission and drop it off.

Any suggestions? Pm me with info of anyone you think I should get in contact with. Thanks everyone!
