So a friend of mine on facebook 'liked' one of her friends pics, of what looks to be a 91 honda. something seemed off with the lights, as they were extremely bright and very blurry, so i loaded the pic up. after investigation i discovered they were 3k hid's installed in stock housing. i proceeded to explain to them the law regarding hid's, how unsafe what they had are, and provided documentation on how to properly install them.

now i have an army of angry kids wanting to beat my ass cause i 'dont know **** y0' and that they cant be illegal since theyve been driving around with them for the past year.

a whole year with incorrect, illegal, unsafe, blinding hids? dear lord im staying off the road now. but hey, when they kill someone with them, ill be sure to join the PROSECUTING team and make sure their ass goes to jail for a very long time, just so i can say 'told ya so.'

on another note, what exactly makes me the ******* for providing documentation and offering to assist with the proper install of hids? is it because i know how to do it? or that i know the science behind rods, cones, and the cornea?

I just blind these guys with my high beams as they approach. They never have the HIDs wired up correctly so they can't flip theirs on in retaliation.

HID drop ins are one of my biggest automotive pet peeves. It's a huge problem here in CA. I can't go one night of driving without seeing at least one car that has them.

You falsely accused somebody for running you off the road. LEOs come out, and arrest the other driver. They investigate, and find out you lied. Now they book you for 4 counts i stated previously, and the kid takes you to court.
How did you achieve anything positive from this??
That is why we have DMV, Police and yearly inspection to keep illegal mods of the cars. It doesnt require some self righteous Jackass to take law in his own hands.

The one that really scared me was when my brother and his friends decided they loved car surfing. One day in the newspaper I saw a red light camera photo with three kids on the roof of an Eagle Talon that was clocked going twice the limit on a street a few blocks from my mom's house where my brother lives.

For example, you can look at outcomes of questionnaires or studies on what percentage of respondents in a particular age group believe the Earth is about 6,000 years old, humans are not derived from ancestors shared with apes, plate tectonics is just a far-flung hypothesis, the embryonic environment and characteristics of the brain are unrelated to gay tendencies, life on Earth is unique, recent global climate change is not man-made, easily-extractable oil reserves are plentiful and not diminishing, immunization causes more harm than good, my own (accidental, by upbringing), regional, personal religious believe is superior - and therefore it should be supported by the community/state/country, etc.

Try it. You'll find huge regional differences. And it's not the coasts that should fall off the cliff.
