A few times already, when I backed into my driveway, I noticed the volume of my music going really low...then it came back - figured it was a new feature...anyways... I was on my way home from work tonight, with the music blasted and singing quite loud - when the volume turned itself down for some reason (I noticed because I could hear myself singing.....it aint pretty)...and when I wanted to turn it up...the volume was still quite high, but it sounded like it was below half !!!!

has anyone encountered that problem yet ??

Check what your speed sensitive volume control is set at.

Your car is telling you to stop singing.

Yup. It's the speed sensitive volume control. It's suppose to be that when the car is generating more noise, it will slightly increase to keep the volume at the same level, and the same goes for slowing down creating less noise. You can turn it off in the radio settings, bearing which radio you have.

My mkv had it and I absolutely hated it. I'm listening to the music at that volume, because that's what I want to hear it at. It's like having that annoying jerk off in shotgun that always wants to put on his music or turn it down to tell you some crap story you don't care about. My car, my rules, my music.

Just a suggestion - but might be the load protection on the crossover kicking in - That happened to me all the time on my mkv, if I had the bass cranked all the way up and the volume too loud (Especially with the fader set to more on the fronts which couldnt handle it), any heavy bass part of the song would kick that load protection in, and the volume would turn down automatically for a few seconds, then it would come back up after the load subsided.

I have a similar problem but the other way around. My volume goes up for no reason I think. I'm not sure what causes it . Happened three times this morning. That's why I posted this up here to get solutions about it. I tried to go into the speed sensitive volume control and I'm not sure how to turn it off. When its in the middle, does it means its off? Need help thanks.
