Rear view camera and the OPS system HELP!!!!

Hi guys

i have added the genuine vw rear view camera to the tiguan over the weekend and was wondering if there was a way of having the camera as the default screen rather than having the OPS one and then having to push an icon on the screen to get the camera screen!!!
also the box on the left of the camera screen doesn't have the car in it its just clear is that because i have not installed a control module with the camera?

any help would be great

i have done the exact same installation yesterday but WITH a module.

i have the exact same problems as yourself though.. default screen in Optical Parking System, then having to press an icon to see the rear image.

and also when the rear image is on, there is no OPS display of the car, just a blank area..

i don't think the module is what you are missing for it to work, must be something to do with VAG COM? maybe..

Hi Rickster i have found the solution!!!
go into the park assist coding and tick the box for the rear view camera then come out of it and reboot the RNS and like magic you will have the rear view camera as the default screen with the OPS in the blank area:thumb up:

I recently purchased an '09 CC V6 4MOTION. after a few weeks, the OPS screen stopped appearing. I still hear the beeps as I get close to an object, but the screen wont come up on the Navigatio Unit to show a pic of may car. any advice?
