    Is it just me or.....

...am I seeing more and more bling and airbrushed nonsense? Impressive work, but style-wise I always looked to Worthersee as the epitome of the euro-look. Is the euro-look changing? Hopefully it is just the choice of photos and not representative of the overall trend.

This has been happening in Germany and Holland since at least 2004. It's so gross. I was in Germany in '04 and I was excited to buy a bunch of Vw mags, and they were full of billet, airbrushing, and other crap like that.

I thought the ugly German airbrushed creations didn't show up until the week of the actual show?

It isn't a standard color option and I doubt the car has the BMW Individual paint option. It is mostly likely a vinyl wrap. Looks kinda like a matte Sepang Bronze but could be anything.

+1 that's the problem with always trying to separate yourself from the herd. Often people go too far and turn their cars into crap just to be different. I much prefer the clean, race-inspired Euro look of the 1990s.

I had no idea color blindness was so prevalent in Austria.

    can not un(worther)see.

Some of these are really nice but once you've seen one wagon bagged on purple/pink/chrome 24" rims you've seen enough.

Yep, I miss seeing nice mk2's on Compomotives, but if you are talking about showcars, styles get boring and you have to try new things.

    Cool!

Nothing new or innovative that I can see in those photos. Lots of clean cars, cool colors, and nice wheels though.

crisvr6, are you going to be at the show next week? I'm studying in Salzburg right now and want to head down that way on the 18th. I can't find anywhere to stay so I'm just going down for the day.

no, my car has no tüv at the moment.. the most people rent a room like a 1/2 year or more before the meeting, but maybe you have luck..

If the euro look is changing in europe, that would make it the new euro look.

I'm so glad I'm not a trend follower...
    I agree about the 90s race-inspired look.
A little low, but no tuck, and then some nice lightweight wheels with some semi-meaty tires and then go fast
