That is the second most common question I get asked about my car, second to "What the heck is it?" The value of these cars is often mostly under the hood - if you can turn the engine over, then it's worth something, if not, or the engine is missing, well, it's worth very little. There was a DKW Wagon that went through a total (and I mean TOTAL) nut & bolt restoration that sold this spring at RM Auctions for $60,000. The condition that this one is in, though, reminds me of one that was pulled from the weeds in Ottawa a few years back - it had no engine, but was in somewhat better cosmetic shape, and sold for $100. If that says "58 DKW $3500, no title" on the windshield, and there's no running motor under the hood, he's dreaming of Christmas in July (unfortunately).

He's asking $1500 not running but motor included... It's in the back is he still dreaming? Lol

If the motor is not seized, then he's priced it appropriately IMHO.....otherwise....no.
