If i had the money, I would do option 1, in my opinion it would make the drive much more funand would def keep me occupied while I try to save up for the the other stuff.

As of now this is what my R looks like. The two options I can't decide over are as follows:
1. APR Stage 1+ with VWR intake or
2. APR Stage 1, KW V1 coilovers, H&R spacers, and Euro tails.
I'd love to do everything at once, but due to cost I can only do 1 or 2. I'd greatly appreciate any thoughts on what I should do, because I can't decide.

Except I'd get the WINtake. Saves you almost $300 that you can put toward your LED tails or something.1. APR Stage 1+ with VWR intake or

Do you like looking at your car from a distance? or driving the car.
That should answer your question.
Love the black wheels btw.

Option 2 seems like a very good compromise between performance and looks. I'd go for 2.

No one would know its in there until you take off... Isn't that the point? I can see if a car is running a DP/exhaust by the idle sound and look of the tailpipes that you could call no sleeper, but I would be impressed if pulling up to an R at a light with Stage 1+ and an intake that you would know it's any different from stock. And your average person would get an extra surprise thinking it a "nice" looking Golf.

Option 1.
From personal experience adding the VWR intake after I had apr stage 2+ installed resulted in the most noticeable single change I did. The increase in mid range torque was unbelievable. I really don't know if anyone will dnyo compare VWR, Forge, etc intakes to each other but I would think any intake will result in an increase. I like the VWR system but the price is really steep compared to the other systems.

option one. Love the intake with tune.

I have to agree with option 1 as well. After driving TLud's car at 1+, I ordered the pump kit the same day (though I went with an Autotech kit rather than a full APR replacement which saves $300 or so).

Thanks for the input. Looks like its going to be Option 1.
