    H&R Sport

The eibach lower Lowers your Passat by 25-30mm. The Eibach is basically the same spring found on a passat with a sport suspension. ECS wants $330 shipped!

Are the drivers gear springs the auto or manual transmission ones?

I researched this and I if I'm not wrong, the springs for auto and manual 2.0t are the same but the springs for 3.6 are different. If you get on tire rack and look up springs h&R they do not differentiate between auto and manual. Ive never even heard of any vw's having different springs for auto and trans until i read the same thread you likely read if you researched this product.

VW actually did have different springs for the car depending on the transmission

    Manual (3C0071678) or Auto (3C0071679)

I wonder what the difference is. When I research springs for these cars they never ask me if its auto or manual..... only if its 2.0t or 3.6

You don't have the box or an invoice with the part number? Or the p/n off the springs themselves?

Selling them for a friend. The story goes, his brother in law makes over 300k a year as regional manager for linens n things. He was choosing between suspension but ended up selling the car.

The specs are not hidden information. Make sure you know what works.

If you could come down in price, I'd take one of them.

In case this helps...I'm running the automatic driver gear springs on my MT and I have no issues...the stance is perfect.

Price is firm. It is clear based on previous posts that this is a good deal. You could always go to tirerack and spend 200+ for the same thing..

according to driver gear magazine they did not offer an eibach for the wagon...

    according to tire rack, the

    h&r springs for auto/manual 2.0t sedan part # 54760
    h&r springs for auto/manual 2.ot wagon part # 54760-2

I have a feeling they are no the same thing.

The DriverGear springs are not listed for the wagon, but WILL fit

They just sit a little lower in the rear (due to the extra weight back there)
