They didnt complete the EJ acquisition and there has been a decent amount of drama surround that. Court appointed mediation is on the 29th. Stasis has been trying to push the court date back since Oct when we walked out. You should have seen the look on Pauls face when I quit...priceless![]()

Wow, I never knew BSH was owned by someone else. That's insane. They still have a loyal customer though. Great Guys, Great Parts, Great Service!!!

Well, then how is revo manufacturing the same parts with their names on it? If they are BSH Designs, and KE makes them, and KE is in bed with REVO, somethings seems off here. All the backdoor business dealings hurt my head.![]()

To be fair - how else can a filter on a stick look.
Or how BSH's motor mounts are almost exactly like VF's -
Or how AirRaide's intakes look just like K&N
and on and on and on...
What's funny is if you have ever been in Kenney's office there's stacks of other companies' part in the corner that he planned to dupe next. Don't blame him, blame the consumer with no brand loyalty - the one who wants the cheapest thing they can find online. If you have the means to bring a product to market the cheapest and still make money you win.
I've briefly chatted with Phil about the situation and while admittedly it sucks, he has a very positive outlook and assured he's got some 'next level' stuff in the works.

Or how everyones Diverter Valve is basicly a copy of the Forge 007 unit.. lol All this is very true, there is only so many ways to make a filter on a stick, or an engine mount, and if you can do it cheaper than the other guy and people will buy it, why not...lol
Glad to hear Phil is taking it all in stride and has a positive outlook.. I've always felt he is great guy! Suppose your a pretty cool dude too Derek!![]()

Like I said in my earlier post, BSH will always have a loyal customer earlier post. BSH is TITS!!!![]()

Everyone who reads this I beg you to listen. Coming from someone who knows more about all of this than anyone knows... You can take ANYTHING you read on the Internet with big ****ung grain of salt. My friends in this thread excluded. But this industry sucks, it's become cut throat dishonest self serving and 90% propaganda. I cried when I made the decision to lose up my shop, just the same as when Eurojet closed/moved but I promise you this **** makes me so happy to be done with it. The fact that the most uninformed prick with alterior motives can be the loudest one in the room and therefore the voice of reason or the most trusted is sickening. I'll be glad to sit behind a desk for a few years while these Internet commandos spread their marching orders to the masses.
The fact is that ANYONE who has the balls to try and do their own thing despite this industries ambiguity and indecision is a brave man. And that's a testament to Phil, to Ronnie, to Derek even to Joel. And those of you who "know" realize the gravity of that.
The day you think you know what the real story is, or who a man is, because you read it on the Internet, that's a sad fugging day. Because it means you know nothing and it means some retard just got more credibility than he could EVER deserve.
This is more of a response the the links than this thread. Which I took the time to read btw. But it spans more than that and I dare anyone to say different.
So here's to everyone who tried to do something, or is doing something and here's a big middle finger to everyone who can't or won't but judges them on the Internet. The best of luck to BSH, to Eurojet in whatever capacity (specifically Ronnie, and Joel), to Exklusiv and everyone else that DESERVES an opinion in all this.
The End

I haven't been on Vortex in a while, this was a nice way to come back. Thank you for the support, it was really well received.
As for as chains of events go, this one kinda sucks! Ha, but I guess that's how life goes sometimes. I'd rather be here than where we were before any day of the week though.
With Revo, now that there are big names are involved, when the truth starts dropping there will either be some blushing faces or a display of "**** Everyone Get Money" that the public will choose to accept or reject. To be fair to them, I only know that Revo were told one side of a story and made a decision, I am hoping and would be willing to let it go without prejudice, if that were to be the case and they re-evaluated what they were doing. Not really sure the world works like that anymore though.
In any case, we feel the battle will be waged over who designed the BSH products originally. So instead of preparing wordy responses and whatever standard BS companies do, we decided that since we did it once, might as well just do it again. A whole new line up of BSH products, many that have never been available even conceptually to the public, has started being introduced on the forums and our Facebook page.
Among our new staff, Jason, will be starting to manage our presence on the forums starting in June. I'd imagine now that the remodel on our building is almost done we will have a get together so everyone can meet the new faces at BSH.
Cheers everyone,
-Phil

BSH used to have KE making parts for us.
For reasons more numerous that I care to get into, we no longer chose to work with them.
KE called every major tuner in the industry claiming this debt story that was posted on GolfMKVI and offered to sell them the line direct.
After KE was rejected by APR (which I told them I appreciated), Revo apparently took the story at face value and decided it would be a prudent and wise business move to put their brand name on parts the market knows as BSH. The last part is kind of confusing to me, just due to its blatant nature. I can't draw the connection of how Revo would decide that a company with its brand presence can have their first foray in hardware being just slapping their brand on parts that have been in the market for years.
I kind of think that they must have believed BSH wasn't going to exist anymore and no one would say anything or assume a buyout. The flip side of course is that it could just be the fact that these parts don't get patented so they can do what they want. I think the former may be true, but times are tough so who knows.

I couldn't care less about the circumstances covered in this thread...but...
I would like to know why Revo claims, repeatedly, that BSH is a Revo dealer, yet when I called BSH (on 2 different occasions, once BEFORE I contacted Revo and once afterwards) I was informed, by BSH, that BSH is a Revo distributor, not a dealer.
I didn't speak to Phil(l) either time I called BSH, though. He's always been a good guy, so maybe I should have just asked for him to explain it.![]()

Hey Zach, here is the answer. Our business model promotes us sending business to local shops. We do not do installs or mechanical work. We feel that by bringing a customer into our shop to have an upgrade done that may require physical after support may be setting them up for a potentially disappointing experience. We therefore elect to work through the valleys network of shops and put ourselves in a central hub position. Technically we can flash cars and used to so Revo was not incorrect in what they said, however we elect not to do it anymore for the greater good.

My Mk V GTI has most of what BSH makes and the rest is APR, and all of it is GOOD RELIABLE product. For me there is no need to look further. Kind of a bump for BSH? I suppose...

That thread has extremely inaccurate posts on all fronts.
- We would post on golfmk6 but the vendor in question would have our posts deleted.
- An employee (a friend of ours and still a friend of phil's) left BSH over the Skoda in question.
- This is an extremely sour topic for all involved.
On the plus side the software company in question did release there Stage 5 file considering they are in the software business.
As seen on the Skoda!

to KE
to APR (truly shows why many vendors choose to carry APR software).
to you for your positive attitude.
That is why if we do (on the rare occasion) outsource work due to our inability to manufacture it in house , we make sure all parties involved sign NDA's that way no one gets hurt (physically or financially).

Phil is right. I can vouch for him. I have been dealing with bsh for reasons other than parts resourcing and he told me about what was going on within the company. I coulnt get a hold of anyone until a week ago when i personally met with phil and he told me what was going on. I have seen the warehouse myself and what phil is doing with it and I immediately got a good feeling about Phil and i recommend buying your parts through him. Once everything is organized and sorted this shop will definitely hit the ground running. If given the opportunity I would love to work for these guys.
