I'm using a mk3 front cradle with mk3 2litre control arms. The issue is that the control arm mount holes are larger than the bolts that mount to the frame. The previous owner had some JANK shems jammed in the bushings to tighten them up.

What's the best solution? Drill out the mk2 rail to take the mk3 bolts, OR, score some mk2 control arm bushings and hope they fit the mk3 control arms?

    thanks!

What bushings were used in the control arms? A2 bushings use a thin sleeve to space the bushing to the bolt. Possible mix up? Correct bolts on the k frame to body?
