The owner of the Audi did not use launch control on purpose. With LC he does 1/4 mile in 11.8 @ 195 kph (regular road, regular tyres), and a standing mile in 29.6 @ 280 kph. His 100-200 is low 8s, high 7s I believe. This is stage 2 GT-R (R35) and 911 Turbo (997) territory. My average 100-200 is low 9s.


My guess is, the golf would need another 80 to 100 HP to keep up with this R8 to 300+.

TEFF, have you run a 1/4 mile? If so, time. You have serious power, and I would love to know
if anyone put down a faster 1/4 mile time than the GIAC tuned R20.
I don't know much about the R20 or all that is done on the strip, here or in other countries, than what is mega posted.

I think the Giac extreme cars have been in the low 12s. I believe TEFF has an event this fall. Then we will find out if the garage princess can dance.
