I recognize what you did there!! I see your GPW, and raise you a Berlina.

In reality though I would like to eventually own a 997 911(Turbo or GT3 variant) or a GT-R. Found myself spending a lot of time researching them both.

Oh i know, that part of the mystique that helps this car achieve it's well deserved unicorn status. Also Senna's involvement in development of the chassis doesn't hurt either.

im 24, I don't see myself to able to do this for a the very least 10-15 years. Until I have a family, I'm going to try to live as cheap as possible to help set me up for my future. However at some point I have the financial stability to do so, I could possibly convert one to a hard top.

All I can do now is work hard, and hopefully I'll be able to pull the trigger on one in the future.

I would rather dream big and fall short, than never to have dreamed at all.

That's a great attitude to have, and it's a sentiment that I share.

I actually have plans to eventually import one of these, which is also my answer to the thread:

Opel Manta B. With a engine swap to the 3.0 straight six from an Opel Monza / Senator.

Preferably even one with a Mattig Widebody. Just like in the Film 'Manta Manta', which I must have watched a billion times while growing up.

+1, because i am 90% certain there will be a 911 sold throughout my lifetime and prices on older models will come down to affordable levels as my income increases. I will own one, one day.

993 turbo is my dream porsche.

Touareg Hybrids are pretty nice, and the warm fuzzies I felt while driving the hybrid was actually the fingers of all of the German tax payers trying to reach into my wallet to get their money back. (Brendan@bwalkauto)
