Looking to install an oil pressure guage to trouble shoot some issues I'm having right now. Car is a 2002 awp gti. What would be the easiest way to go about it, any good kits out there. I came across this (http://store.42draftdesigns.com/VW-O...Kit_p_314.html) relocation kit which I could hook up to either a M10x1 or 1/8 NPT sending unit. Any recommendations or experience with this kit?

Yes, that is an ideal way to do it. My gauge is hooked up to the unused port on the oil filter housing

All OP would need is an el-cheap-o gauge and a sender, right? If this were for anything other than diagnostics I'd say otherwise...

    Still, $ThirtyFive isn't bad

Yes, that's exactly what I was referring to actually. If you search in this forum i've helped a few people hook up it that way.. "oil pressure" in the search box should do it

I have the old version of the kit and its been fine for about 5 years.
also you only need the relocate kit if you have an oil temp guage, otherwise just put the oil psi in the spare bung on the oil filter housing. its the thing on the image above.
