So I've decided to start a build thread since everyone that is is doing it.

    Traded in my 2002 Passat B5.5 1.8T for a 2012 Jetta S 2.0 (silver)

Pic on the day I got it

Put on some tint. 15% fronts 5% rears.

Added some blue DRL's (recently changed to super white) and 8000K HID kit

Added my Pioneer D3 with navigation, Kicker CVX 2 12" subwoofers, 4 rockford fosgate speakers and a 4 channel 500 watt rockford fosgate amp for the components and a 1000 watt soundstream amp for the sub's.

Added a lip spoiler and some 19x8 ET 45 rims on 235/35/19 Nexen 3000 tires

Somne other various tweaks and additions I have done so far

    VAG-COM:
    windows up/down with remote
    convenience 5 click turn signal
    coming home
    MPG/Miles to empty on MFW

I plan on going with ST coils or a full air setup (yet to be determined), resonator delete with flowmaster muffler and single exhaust tip, fog light kit , tinted tails, some spacers, another 1000 watt amp for the subs, a car audio battery, rear GLI bumper, interior LED lights, shaving the trunk, footwell light mod, fender rolling, complete front/rear seat swap and maybe some dinoc wrapped door trim, and swapping the 235 tires out for some 215's

Comments or suggestions are always welcome!

from what I was told auto lights is needed for just the leaving home feature. You tap your high beams like you are going to flash someone. I have HID bulbs so I am not sure if this makes a difference yet but I am almost positive you need the euroswitch with the "home" position for them to work

Heres what I was told to do :

    1. Activate feature with Vag-Com
2.. Drive car with lights on, park, turn light off, turn car off.
    3.. Flash high beams.
4.. Open door - headlights and tall lights turn on
5.. Close door - lights turn off in the number of seconds you set coming home.
