yes but it was probably on the correct way.

i currently live in BFE middle of nowhere and i still have my surf board from my days of ripping at capitola and half moon bay but i'll be damned if i toss that board on my roof rack and drive around here with it on...let alone toss it on the wrong way.

i'm no fan of scenster trends and i have no problem saying as much. this is an open opinion forum and not everyone will agree on something

    Haha thanks man.
Yeah its just all for looks anyways. Don't really care if its on wrong or not...
I live in north alabama and haven't surfed a day in my life but I thought it would look neat so when I was in the Gulf, I went to a surf shop and bought that junked board for about $80.
People get a kick out of it and I've had a few people say it reminds them of where they used to live (cali, panama, etc).
All for fun, anyways. Otherwise it wouldn't be worth the time.

Thanks! Yeah I love the caps! Saw a ride on here with em and just had to try it. I'd love some Rader (or Radar...either would work ) wheels though...

For most the body, just cut it enough to smooth out the paint. For the front driver fender, it required a little more work cause of all the bondo thats on it. Also the hood needed more work and was cut down a couple re-sprays to the OG grey (which i was stoked to see underneath all the respray crap).

turn it the right way and those people will get more of a kick out of it

guess i'm just getting cynical from seeing all the MK1 kiddies toss an empty keg and surfboard on their roof racks along with clapped out old luggage...and then there's ones that go with the white wall inserts on their MK1's yeah i'm turning into an old fart, or the meds are kicking in strong

no worries... to each their own!

But I bet they don't have a built in trash shoot / urinal / etc

And to who are concerned, its all good....I throw a couple license plates over it and put the carpet back on it... good as new!
