Engine Bay Cleaning MK1

Has anyone ever pressure washed their engine bay on there mk1. I know i jsut did on My girls new toyota and i was thinking about doing my rabbits but i figured id cover up the distributor if it did.

I do all the time..
I pre-soak with Oil Eat'R or Krud Kutter, wait a few, brush the heavier spots, then pressure wash it all down, taking care not to directly spray the dizzy or connectors. I've never had an issue (yet).
