2009 fully loaded to the hilt, steering wheel buttons front and rear, power rear stow & go, nav, sirius, very happpy with it, etc...BUT, this model doesnt have the RSE Bought it from Carmax and paid a good price, good financing and the vehicle looks and smells brand new still with only 36k on the odometer...Carmax put in an aftermarket dual video dvd players aftermarket and it looks just that....aftermarket cheapy remotes that work half the time, back seat passengers have no radio to listen to, (no access to Sirius either), video game plugs are behind each screen, bulky dvd player units that look like an afterthought sticking out an inch and a quarter below where the fold down cubbys were. After doing previous research, I read that VW's retrofit only allows ONE dvd player to play BOTH screens....VW, CHRYSLER, WHY NOT HAVE A RETROFIT THAT WORKS THE WAY THEY COME FROM THE FACTORY, TWO DVD PLAYERS! It looks like its too much to ask for the factory units, with sirius and FM radio playing independently on both units' headphones, dual dvd, and video game jacks THAT INSTALL NEAR THE POWER OUTLETS NEAR THE SLIDING DOOR. Very disappointed that we can't get the system we want....stupid me thought all SEL Premiums had the RSE, since this model is the top of the line, supposedly with everything in 'em. LOVE the van, just not the crappy aftermarket system...ok, vented, now I need a

Easy tiger, you can retro the 2 screens CLICK HERE and scroll down. IF you have the moonroof you need to make sure you order or find the dual overhead console, the NON moonroof vans have one long console. Find your radio in the link, radio code is in the lower right corner, RER etc....

I just saw on ebay the other night the dual screen for a moonroof removed from a van. It did not have everything but it's worth a look at. If I can find it again I'll PM you. Yeah 09 you got to pick and choose on the options, 2010+ they standardized a bit. Hopefully we can get you all the right info for the conversion. Another guy just went thru starting to look as this seem to be a popular upgrade. Do a search here on retrofit RSE or VES.

I noticed the VW 2 screen retrofit kit on the catalog, VW told me it only runs off 1 DVD player, same thing watched on both screens...problem I have now is I paid for the install of the aftermarket system, and it was added to the price of the van, maybe they'll take it out and let me get the factory correct items and since it's paid for already, it shouldn't be a prob

Looked at the other thread and may just go with the lockpick and have the capability to integrate, which is what I really want, I'll forget having radio capability on the rear screens then, and the aftermarket ones are bigger at 10.2", and the individual dvd players attached give the rear seat passengers more control instead of driver/front passenger controlling them, would like to add antenna tv to the units as the remotes have an option on 'em or even add satellite tv etc....the lockpick makes my possibilities endless and is a cheaper option at this point...and my two teenagers would appreciate the ipod/iphone hook-ups to the system as well, they can use internet radio (yahoo radio, etc) if they want local stations through their own iphones, and they can plug them into the outlets to save their batteries from wearing down while they do that, problem solved...OK, rants over for good, and thanks for the suggestions, 58kafer! Cheers
