Local fabricator wanted (details inside)

Hi,

I'm looking for someone, or a reference to someone, to custom make a roll-bar akin to an autopower race roll bar (b-pillar hoop, cross bar, harness mount bar, brace to rear strut towers). Nothing too crazy. Car is currently stripped and will be a rolling chassis in basically bare metal.

I live in Southcoast, MA. forgot that one.

Car is a 1985 Mk2 Jetta 2-dr. Figure it'll be relatively similar in cost to the autopower after shipping and such, and being welded would be a huge plus.

Checking my options, as it were.

Not local to you and not sure if he is still doing cages...but worth a call and visit if you don't need to stay local. He did a rollbar like you describe, in my 84 GTI and a 8-point cage in my 83 GTI. Awesome work and attention to detail, TIG welded joints. Nice guy too.
