2001 Golf alarm turns itself back on?

Ok, my 2001 Golf has an annoying issue. If I unlock the car with the remote and wait just a bit, the alarm turns itself back on.
Usually if I walk outside in the morning, unlock the car, do something like take out the trash, the car will re-lock itself and honk.

It will do it even if I open the door, and it locked the keys inside itself once.

Any way to turn this off?

try to open other door.if it wont do it again-you need a door latch.btw-does your interior lights turns on when you open the door(s)
