Past experiences with TM Tuning.

Hey guys,

So I have a question and an issue. I'll start with the question first.

How many of you have ordered and dealt with TM Tuning? Good or bad experiences?
In particular, has anyone ever ordered Stubby Mirrors for your MK4 from them?

On to my issue.
Back in Feb. I ordered a badge less grill and a pair of stubby mirrors from tm tuning for my car as I want to get some body work done on it. My invoice told me I would be receiving my package the sometime in the week of of March 12th. It is an estimated time, not to be exact so if it got here a week before or after I wasn't going to be surprised. But receiving it today after exchanging emails back and forth with them was a bit, frustrating. This is not the first time I had an issue with getting my order from them, as my first time buying something from them was a set of RSD coil-overs which took about two and a half months to get to me as well. But to make a long story short I'll get to the point.

I opened the box tonight after getting home from work to make sure I had everything I ordered and to make sure nothing was damaged. When I opened it I noticed I had two different colored mirrors, one Primer'd and one black, ok no biggy. But after examining them, I noticed the black one has an internal frame while the primer'd one has all internal plastics. Did I get screwed?

TM Tuning is the worst. It took them over 4 months to deliver my parts. They out right lied to me and told me 4 separate times that my parts shipped. Four months after placing my order, I filed a claim with my credit card company to get a full refund. Three days later the parts were at my door. I would never buy from them again.

fwiw i ordered mk3 smoked tails and a shift knob from them many years ago (~9-10) and everything was delivered in perfect condition and on time.

hopefully their customer service hasn't totally **** the bed since then

The reason why you received 1x OEM VW mirror base and 1X aftermarket is that one side of the aftermarket version was currently on backorder. So we decided to not delay your order and to provide you with the OEM part free of add. charges.

To keep reasonable prices for parts like the stubby mirrors we offer high quality after market parts and only provide the OEM VW parts upon special request. That is also why the mirror set is not labeled as OEM VW on our web site.

Well I guess I should be grateful if that is the case.
Regardless, at least I can finally get work done on my car.
