So i have a torn hose in my mk4 gli and i dont know what the name of the hose is. Does anyone know the name of the hose and where i can get a replacement other than the dealer. Also can this affect the boost of the car? Because i have like no boost right now.

believe thats your crank case breather, looks like its already been kinda replaced once before. factory its plastic hose kinda crap that cracks really easy... but that isnt your boost problem.

ECS is got it. Some advise,

Be really careful when replacing it. The "T" section on the other side of the hose can be really fragile. Take your time and try not to damage the other hose... It can be a bear..

Any thoughts I post are my own. I am not speculating on any repair VWoA is making, has made, or will make.

No need to be careful...Splurge the extra $4 and get This hose from 034 motrosport and never worry about the plastic breaking again.

That same hose is broken on the wife's car. Boost/drivability has not been affected that I can tell.
