    Barstow -> Vegas ("Main" Wuste Friday Caravan)

    As our forefathers have done, the "main" Friday caravan from Barstow to Vegas (the final 160 mile stretch of I-15) will meet in the McDonalds parking lot in Barstow. The idea is to have all of the rally-points converge in a location that all will be forced to travel either way.

    Date: Friday, June 1
    Time: Arrive by 11:30am, depart at noon SHARP
    Address: 2571 Commerce Parkway, Barstow, CA

    It's Barstow in the summer, it'll be hot. No one wants to wait around because you decided to go get gas at 11:57. If you need gas, food, or potty breaks, do them with enough time to be back in the McDonalds lot for the 12:00 departure.

    The logistics: Basically, it is every-man-for-himself to get there. Everyone on this caravan will have their room waiting for them in Vegas, so feel free to pace yourself as you see fit. There will be a "main group" which will be going ~80 mph the entire way with no stops but if you choose to go slower or faster, that is completely up to you.. Don't let others decide your pace. It is a straight-shot up I-15 to Vegas.

    any earlier caravans? i plan on being in the Vegras by 11
    the VW community ain't what it used to be, it has turned into competition rather than camaraderie....
    Too bad VW stopped building cars in 1992...they might have been on to something.
