They're disappearing fast. Post pictures of cars used as building signs in your area. I've been going to this place for 40+ years. The guy that owns it now was a teenager changing tires in his father's business when I first started going there.
This former Packard dealership is located on Woodward Avenue just north of 9-mile in Ferndale, MI. I just learned today that buried in the building is a Frank Lloyd Wright commercial structure. The wheels on the car roll nonstop 24/7. It's a highly visible landmark during the Dream Cruise.
If you ever need a front end aligned on a vintage vehicle, this place is old-school.

Niagara Falls Hard Rock Cadillac. It was sad to see it sitting amongst Caravans and other mundane modern cars waiting for the crusher.
I need to go shoot a pic of the junkyard around the corner. They have an old Fiat and a 50's car with a flame paint job mounted up high by the fence, and they've probably been there longer than I've been alive.

Imagine if this had been preserved.
Studebaker management, in the late thirties, decided that this landmark did not represent their newer and more advanced products well, so they had it torched. Twas a shame.

This one in SF, off 101. It's nothing fancy but I've always loved passing by it as a kid.

The very religious and actually dry town of Steinbach Manitoba is home to a lot of car dealerships. And for that they've had this gigantic car sculpture for many decades.

I always loved these going on base. On Marine bases they typically would recover DUI fatality vehicles and display them on base, or by the gate. Then they would have signs showing statistics and stories.

Was it effective? I've found that some drinkers blow that stuff off as, "Can't happen to me".

I can't see all the pics in the thread, so apologies if it's been posted already. Long time Seattle landmark:

I love cars, but the problem is they are like schroedinger's hobby. They're always in a quantum superstate of being both awesome and a huge waste of time and money... until observation momentarily forces them into one state or another.
