I think I've taken the not-so-groundbreaking black & white thing about as far as I can...

I'm pretty much done with it for the foreseeable future

    A very nice ride indeed.

My CW '09 JSW is about to get much the same treatment. I have a different front end in mind, though. If I didn't already own the parts, I'd give your front end treatment serious consideration. What I have is too much chrome for my taste.

I see you left the clear lenses on the mirrors. I tried black ones, but like the clear better because they pass more light. You might consider white (clear) side markers for the whiteout effect.

If you want more black, GLI HIDs have black reflectors. Plenty of other similar options, too.

Looks like you have a rearguard. Did you get a MK V rearguard or a MK VI? (They're cut differently. MK V is flat near the hatch seal and the MK VI is curved.)

Please don't take this the wrong way, because I am a big proponent of "different strokes for different folks" but after seeing a local here with black Detroits/Hufs on his car I wondered what it would look like on my CW JSW...my wallet would like to thank you for helping me to decide that the look isn't for me.

Great example of a black/white theme, though!

    Thanks. No offense taken.

The rearguard is made by an outfit out of the UK called RGM but I cant remember which website I bought it from. This one is strictly for the Mk5 cars, I remember reading that they were cut differently. I'll try to find the site.

Never thought about the side markers. That could be a cheap "mod". Headlights aint cheap though but that would probably look good. I'm going to look for GLI pictures to get some ideas.

I had my window tint guy apply limo tint to my sidemarkers...gets the job done, and can be removed if needed...

Maybe the picture is just blown out, but where would you say your rear door handles are?

Those side markers do look good, so do the dark headlights.

wrap the mirror covers with glossy black vinyl.

cover the front reflectors with glossy white vinyl.

cover the center caps with glossy black vinyl.

vinyl so you can always go back if you dont like the look.

NGP racing is a great shop. Their DC area shop is about half an hour away from us. Their Aberdeen shop is about a 15 minute detour off I-95 north of Baltimore. Good folks at both locations.

I like the RGM Rearguards better than the metal parts you can get from VW as an accessory. The only issue we've had is with rubbing where the bottom of the hatch lid touches one of the corners. That could be hatch alignment or a distorted bumper cover.
