I have a miss fire on cylinder #2. Thats the code im running at least. Already replaced the coil pack and checked the plug but im still missing... And can't get the cylinder to fire... What to do next ....

Anyone think there's a good chance it might be my ICM just went up and needs to be replaced? I've heard of them going up and causing miss fire on cylinder #2.

Did you check compression on cylinder 2? Also could be a bad injector.

i'll third the bad injector theory. go to ebay before a parts dealer tho. i paid half price for OEM that way.

oh and i forgot to mention, easy test.
switch your injectors between cylinders, if the misfire moves with your injector thats your problem. just be careful of those orings when you do this stuff. they like to crack/misalign and spray fuel if you don't get them lined up with the fuel rail right. (i kept a fire extinguisher at hand just in case)

i would check to see if you have any broken wires at the cylinder 2 coil wiring harness. i know that certain harness revisions were prone to broken wires because of the bend in the wires by the connector to the coil and long term exposure to heat. if that checks out good, then i would say ecm

Switched the injectors ... Nothing ... Still Waiting on my ICM to come in. I'll check the wires better tomorrow. Where is the best place to get wires if that does end up being the problem? Junk yard, or is there a site online that sells them. I do not remember seeing them on ECS or other local shops sites...

Thanks again. I'll keep you guys updated. Keep the ideas coming... I need it..
