The question I'm asking is what in your eyes would be a better restoration. I can get my hands on either a 62 bug......... Or an 81 rabbit truck........ Both in rough shape but what would be more worth the time??

Like I said there both in rough shape, the pickup is basically a rolling chassie and for the but it's seen better day.... Needs floor pans wand basically the whole 9 yards. Both Vehicles would be a ground up build...

    2 cents anyone?

The bug doesn't look bad to begin with so I would resto that one.

    No brainer; the Bug.

Aftermarket parts support is tremendous and you will get a huge number of comments and looks from everyone.

I love me some mk1's, but you can never go wrong with restoring an aircooled. I go with the Bug no question.
