    Anyway to tell if you have one or are numbers visible from the top side?

    You could measure the comperssor inlet OD. It's the same size as the baby K03, which your 180 should have stock.

    Right i have the stock tip in so that wont realy help determin if i have a k04 or not.

    i had one on my 01 jetta with APR programming, there is a BIG difference in TORQUE!!! just drive someones stocker, it pulls harder down lo than my 01 TT 225Q with APR download but runs out of air up top

    Their should be a small plate on it with some numbers if its a ko4 it will be marked
    On the front compressor housing or maybe in the middle. I don't remeber exactly just get one of those small
