Hey all, I had my 2012 Tiguan covered in clear bra yesterday and it looks awesome! I got the entire hood done, full front bumper(even the pop out for the toe hook got covered seperately), full left and right fenders, headlights, foglights, A-pillars, the small section right above the windshield, all door sills, and top of rear bumper done for $1300.

Yes I know thats a butt load of money, but to me its more than worth it. My family and I live out in the boonies and we travel quite a ways 1.5hrs each way, 2x/week, to go into Northern VA. And all the country driving produces a crazy amount of dead bugs and rock chips, that have plagued my other two vehicles, so with this car, I was not going to let that happen to it! I'm going to have the doors wrapped and both rear quarter panels and the rest of the rear bumper done in a few weeks. Hopefully have the doors done will help with minor door dings, I know it will def. help with having this car parked in the garage and my kids constantly playing in the garage with their bikes.

Raja in Herndon, VA, did an awesome job and I am more than pleased with his work and his great customer service! He even provided me a loaner vehicle as the job is an all day affair. So if anyone is in the Northern VA area, and is looking for someone to wrap their vehicle in a clear bra, Raja is the guy to go to. Feel free to PM me for his info.

I'll try to get pics ASAP!

Wow you really went for full coverage! Raja did my wife's 2012 Tiguan a couple of weeks ago. Our is a low mileage car, so I only had him do the front third of the hood/front fenders, front bumper, lights, mirrors, rear bumper top. He does excellent work. He did my 328 two years ago and it still looks great.

Hey, is your wife's Tiguan, dark gray? *edit* I just now saw the color of your Tiguan under your username. lol! looked to be SEL 4mo? He showed me the finished pics of a dark gray Tiguan a couple of weeks ago, about may 3rd?

Yes, I kinda went crazy with covering almost every painted piece on the car! Its uber expensive, but I feel its worth it to protect my investment. Its also b/c I did not want this car to turn into my other two vehicles which have become peppered in the front ends from bugs, rocks, debris, by driving from Culpeper (home) to Springfield, 2x/week. I also work in Manassas so that doesnt help things either. lol. By the time I got home from Raja's house, it was unbelieveable how many bugs were stuck dead to the front end! lol! I immediately cleaned them off after I called Raja to make sure it was ok to wipe it down with wet paper towels, since cure time is about 2wks.

Yes he does do a great job....I'm glad to hear your 328 still looks great. I was worried about the longevity of the film especially since our Tiguan is candy white! lol.

I did my front bumper and the hood myself. Hood turned out OK but the bumper looks like crap since I was either sent a wrong pattern or it was cut incorrectly. Anyhow I'll have to get it redone, this time professionally.

    Yup, that is her car!

There is no sign of yellowing on the 328, it is still just as "invisible" as the day he installed it. So you should be good for the long haul with your Candy White Tiguan.
