Of course it's company policy never to, imply ownership in the event of a dildo... always use the indefinite article a dildo, never your dildo.

My lord that thing is hideous. I like fox body's, but just the color combos on that thing make me

Lets see.. shift light, check. switch under column for line locks, check. fire extingquisher, check.

most likely clapped out pretty good at the track

They took the leftover red leather pants from the 80s to make the dash...

Meh, it's like a fast scooter or a philty-dirty fat chick...might be fun, but you'd never want to be seen riding it.

    You cant really build a Saleen. It's either a Saleen....or it's a clone.

I'm not looking for Saleens as they are outta my price range. I'm looking at/for 5-liter notchbacks.

It looks like a female walrus had her period in there.

I think you can find an S2000 with the same problem.

Seller's description (later in the thread he reduces the price to $13k):

This car has only 48,973 miles and is in very good condition. It has been only garage kept and drove two to three times yearly. Very rare red interior in very good condition and probably one of the only red interior saleens made. Original paint which is in good condition. Brand new Cooper Zeon Zpt tires. Oil has been changed every 2,000 miles and although this car is definitely a hot rod it has never been driven like one. The car was purchased from an older gentlemen in Tennessee who was the second owner, he put all the engine and suspension mods on the car. I have had this car for ten years and have only put three thousand miles on it, it has been treated like a baby. I hate to see it go but have to sell for financial reasons. Below is a list of all mods and upgrades done to the car.

Only Synthetic oil used in car
Early 1988 motor with hotter cam enhancements
Steeda aluminum lower rear control arms
    BBK panhead bar
    Auburn limited slip
Motorsport 3:55 ring and pinion aluminum driveshaft
Zoom Kevlar clutch and pressure plate
    Zoom clutch cable and quadrant
    Walker Dynomax Mufflers
BBK 2 1/2 inch exhaust system
Motorsport 1 5/8 inch Shorty Headers
    Edelbrock intake
    Motorsport 24 lb fuel injectors
    65mm throttlebody
    70mm mass air
    Cobra Engine Computer
    Ported Gt-40 heads
    Crane ignition and Coil
    Griffin aluminum radiator
    Electric high flow fan
Crane roller rocker arms 1.7:1 ratio
    Braided stainless brake lines
Performance friction carbon fiber brake pads
    5.0 Shift light
    Momo red suede steering wheel
    5 point racing harness

This car is in great condition and has very minimal flaws from age which can be expected.

    $14,000 obo

I like it. Mainly because they don't do interiors this obnoxious anymore. Therefore, when you're driving it, it really does feel vintage and special.

Eww. You're right. My buddy in college had a 91 gt with the red interior I thought the dash and console was all black.

I owned an white 89 saleen from 95 until 2008 when I sold it to my nephew, so its still in the family. they are cool cars for sure, but they can be ugly in the wrong color, this one is a clean example here, its worth the price if its authentic.

I'm glad red and purple interiors are gone. If it was earth tones, I'd like that Mustang.

School me on what that is? I'm not a fan of the GT bodywork personally. I prefer the LX cars sans bodywork or the Saleen Aero stuff.

same concept as the saleen cars. better suspension, better brakes, optional paxton supercharger available, roll bars available. basically shelby america setting up a daily driveable track day car for you. super rare is my main attraction to it. $40k for 295hp base cars

    quick rundown: http://www.supercars.net/cars/3149.html
