Install the over lay repair harness back to ECM and make the grounds to each coil superior.
Do not ignore it.

Evening All,
My car is a stage 3+ APR conversion. Its covered 155k miles now. It recently had a thorough engine inspection with not too much found.
Occassionally it surges and feels a bit flat.
Recent diagnostics kept throwing up a B1S1 Lambda fault repeatedly but that stopped as soon as I bought a new sensor (not fitted as the current one is proving rather stubborn to remove!)
The car has had a service recently and 4 new coil packs from VW within the last year but the coil pack wiring loom is cracked in places.
The most recent code is the 17772 code but its intermittant. Should I just clear it and see if it returns or is it likely to point to someting I need to address?
I am also running a little lean, I think. The mult. fuel trims are at about '14' just now. I will pop up a AFR graph below.
Any thoughts/input appreciated!
Aaron

Jack,
Thanks for your reply!
How easy is that to do? Simple DIY territory or a bit more comples wiring when you connect to ECU?
Am I okay to clear the code or leave it be until replaced?
Cheers
Aaron

I would repair ASAP.
AGAIN
I wouldn't ignore, or just clear it!
You can do it.
It just takes time and patience.
If its over your scope, take it to a pro maybe a dealer tech in your area.
I'm in NY if your within distance.
Be prepared to pay about 5-6 hours flat rate which is fair for a job like this, plus shop supplies. I really recommend an additional ground cable be run from battery to coils directly.

Thanks for the advice mate. There are a few miles of water between us though so may give it a try myself...
Cheers,
Aaron.
