you can do what i did in one tab open up ebay.de in another tab google translator. I live in germany so the shipping was faster but i got mine with adapters for about a little over 600 dollars. Guy even let me get ones without a rear fog light, and he was charging the same price with or without rear fog, which is weird because every company i have seen online has been charging a lot more for led tails with rear fog. PM me for any help id be glad to help out.

Few more dumb questions.........

Are these lights plug and play? Can I install them now and code them in later with VCDS? Or is that a no no...... just a bulb error or will it fry something?

Those in the ad are sold by the same Ed from BEC who advertises on our classifieds. The ones in the eBay listing are the same as on Marble's car in your pic.

I bought mine directly from Ed, the eBay listing is for BEC Auto Parts, who Ed is.



This is the first shipment of tinted with no rear fog Ed has sold, but the cherry with rear fog he has been selling for a couple months now. Two thumbs up to Ed!

I don't think Ed can get non tinted i.e. Cherry - I think all his are tinted.

My OCD made me trim some tabs a tiny bit, but considering that these are only $420 shipped, I find these more cost effective. A few minutes of trimming is definitely worth the >$250 in savings.

FWIW, another OEM LED owner last night had no idea they were reps.

I just installed mine today and I had some issues with the left outer tail. It had to be my car though cause that light fit fine on another mk6 but not mine for some reason. I ended up having to trim the tabs and screws a bit in order for the light to fit properly. I still dont think its perfect. But its about 95%

hi. do you happen to still have that box? i'm curious what the part number was on the Hella box.

The taillights have arrived from BKS tuning, I do have a question though. (Maybe a dumb one, but I'll ask anyway) Do the r led taillights usually come in a Hella box? I noticed in rockerdan's post they came in a VW box? Just want to make sure I was sent OEM taillights.

On the bks website they actually have two sets of r led tails. one is oem fabricated by vw and the other is by hella an oem supplier but not made by vw. they are cheaper by 50 60 bucks but include the shipping.
dont know the difference in quality.

Yes. I just ordered these and I'll need to double check but I want to say I received them in 5-6 days. Blew my mind. Great communication and 0 problems.
