1st its not a vanagon. the name vangon didnt appear till 1980 with the body change.
2nd its a vintage volkswagen of course they are known for problems.

Found a 1978 vanagon, any warnings?

I found a mint 1978 vw vanagon, its all original garage kept with 29,650 miles, even the original roof rack is on it. Just curious if there were ever a history of problems with them. Its at a dealership. Please tell me these cars were as solid as i think they were.
