I noticed the center column right near the shift boot and all the way down to the floor gets kinda hot. Not piping burn you hot, but I just noticed that it does warm up. I had never noticed it before and figured to ask...

Anyone else notice this? Should I be on the lookout for a part to fail or impending doom?

    Thanks

    Thanks, that's a relief!

So would the exhaust DP being right there be the main cause? Higher temps there with a aftermarket DP???

If anything, lower temps. Larger pipe = less pressure = lower temps.

My legs are always hot from running the boost line through the firewall and never plugging it back up...I see it as venting the hot air from the bay!!
But seriously mine gets warm too
