I really want to like Super Advans, but everything I see them on just doesn't work. They look great on their own but once on a car not so much. Please show me Advans on a car that looks good. Am I the only one?

I always thought they looked good on 90s JDM, and that's about it.

I'm sure they are great for light weight and performance, but I hate them aesthetically speaking.

They work great for 90s JDM. Beyond that, no. It's really hard to pull off the three prong look.

Hard to put my finger on it. Maybe it's because they are kinda bland looking with no color. They'd probably look really good with the gold-ish centers. I've always liked Super Advans, but its hard to find a car they look good on.

This doesn't work for me either. I think you need to have polished rims and machined center, and then a gold colour would look really nice. I think the tires also don't help. You need an aggressive tread pattern. Some slotted or drilled rotors would give visual interest in the big gaps. Ultimately, I think these rims really need 18" to stand out, the S2000 looks like 17".

17x13 rears and 17x10 fronts. i'm gonna assume not available. taking off the OEM salad shooters for Advans is not going to improve anything.

I'd still like to see a set on the Viper, that sounds cool.

Strangely enough, I love the MKIV that has/had them. The whole mesh wheel thing kinda got old to me, I love aftermarket wheels that are light and functional, not showy. To me, the Advans' fit this.

They have both 17x10s and 18x10s, they also do some custom fittings so they might go wider. Not that it would really matter, considering the differences in tire compounds over the last 20 years.

i think they can look good with the correct fitment, ride height and tires. they do look better in a drift setup though
