Bought the cabriolet off of a friend as a project car but ran into one problem after another. I had to part with the car but I need to free up some space in the garage for something reliable to drive this summer. The car will start and idle but seems like it is missing out and once I hit the gas pedal it just cuts completely out. I've just ran out of time with the car and don't have the extra cash to finish it. I hope this car will go to a good home and to someone willing to bring it back to life. I'm not really interested in parting the car out so please don't ask how much for a certain part.

I had the car inspected and recently found out that it had a blown head which was causing it to die out. I've bought another engine that came out of a golf .It's a 8v also. I really need to get the car sold as I don't have the time and it's taking up space in my friends garage right now.
