There are so many "which rims" threads out there that I thought it would be a refreshing change of pace to talk about something else.

If there's already a thread like this, than I apologize in advance, but I thought it would be interesting to know what's powering your ride? I'd like to see what the direction "das scene" is heading in. Are most of us keeping it old school and simple, or is reliability and economy more important?

    Thanks,
    John.

    Nice thread

I hope this doesn't end up like another G60 vs VR6 thread...

Corrados IMHO, must have either FI motors or big displament NA motors (or both)...European Corrados with the NA 1.8 16V KR or the 2.0 16V 9A or the 2.0 8V were/are a big mistakes

I'm in a very small minority that drives the Corrado a lot and also a small group that has converted to diesel (TDI).

but the agility of the 4cyl cars is so nice. I've driven my Corrado with stock VR6 and now turbo and I still dream about the handling of my buddies 16v MK II Jetta.

Also agree... But unleashing a VRT on the highway or blowing the doors off $100k+ cars is pretty damn fun too

But as for my cabby it will stay 16v
