Are these cables to be used in conjunction with hydraulic/manual conversion? What's the difference between this cable and the other clutch cable I see advertised with those slave conversions? Do these bolt up to mk1 clutch pedal?

    Thanks

these are the correct OEM cable from VW and bolt right in with no mods at all for the hydro to manual conversion.

wow josh, that price is kind of crazy even for a hard to come by unit. great you have them instock, lord knows i need a second one, but i paid like $36 for mine. i dont think most can justify that versus a couple other not so nice options that cost a quarter of that.

    $85, def buy it.

    just my opinion though.

1st. A pm saying that would have been more appropriate.
2nd. And being honest. I paid $98 per cable plus shipping MY cost. So $120 shipped from me as a business is me offering a fair deal since I need to make some money (like $9-10 on each)
3rd. They are cheaper the oem Vw list price with the shipping.
4th. they are oem with oem part number and NLA.
5th. Come on man, You know me by now.... I try to supply and help the mk1 crew and not make a killing on them. So me as a business making $9-10 on a part that's nearly impossible to find... Is more of a help then a money maker.

i apologize for not PM'ing you, that was def a serious ******* mov eon my part, and holy**** 98 each, i can def justify spending 120 on one now. fack man, that sucks.

and yes, you do bring new parts and unique and needed parts and help to us lowly MKI guys. a lot of us truly appreciate it,especially those of us who know how long you have been around and the work you do.

no worries man, no hard feelings.
yes, i do this for a business...but sometimes i just like to see the mk1 people get what they need without killing them for cash. i've owned 34 mk1's so far...i love them and want to see more get built...
